The Westhampton Beach Historical Society will be hosting a Revolutionary Living History Event on The Great Lawn of Westhampton Beach on Saturday, July 8, 2023, with a rain date of July 9th. The event will demonstrate British and American camp life, infantry and cavalry skills on horseback, artillery demonstrations and culminate with an infantry and cavalry skirmish at the end of the afternoon complete with musket and canon fire. The re-enactors, camp followers and associated civilians will dress in period civilian and military uniforms. A blacksmith and basket weavers will demonstrate their crafts.
